One price, without the mid-project surprises
Some flooring bids look low until the old floor comes up and the change orders start. We work the other way around: at the estimate we look at your subfloor, explain the prep it needs and build that into the quote. Tear-out of your old flooring is included too, and disposal follows California’s disposal rules. When you compare San Marcos flooring quotes, check whether prep and removal are included.

Because the showroom is in San Marcos, it is an easy stop from anywhere in the city: compare full boards and tile side by side under real light, then borrow a few samples to see next to your own cabinets and walls. Materials stocked locally are often available within 2–3 business days of your order; items stocked in Georgia take 7–10 business days. We give you a realistic timeline with your estimate.
San Marcos homes run from older houses around Lake San Marcos to newer townhomes and planned neighborhoods near the university and San Elijo Hills. Older homes can need more subfloor work before a new floor goes down; newer homes often need builder-grade carpet and vinyl replaced. Either way, we check the subfloor at the estimate and include the prep in your price.

Where is your San Marcos flooring showroom?
We are at 1945 S. Rancho Santa Fe Rd, Suite C, San Marcos, CA 92078. Look for Suite C, our newer and larger showroom space at that address. The showroom is open Monday – Friday 9:00 – 5:00, and weekends by appointment.
Is the in-home estimate really free?
Yes. Book a time on our Shop from Home calendar or call (760) 736-0080. We bring samples to your home, measure with a laser and diagram your rooms in Measure Square, then give you a detailed estimate. The visit usually takes about 15 minutes to 2 hours, and there is no pressure.
Will my price go up once the old floor comes up?
We aim for an all-in price. Our estimates include floor preparation based on your jobsite conditions, and removal of your old flooring is included, so you are not hit with a large change order in the middle of your project.
What warranty comes with installation?
CQ Floors backs its installation work with an 18-month limited workmanship warranty from the completion of work, covering tile, hardwood, vinyl/LVP, laminate and carpet installations we perform. It can be transferred to a new owner within the first year after the work is substantially complete, and the flooring products themselves carry their manufacturer’s warranty.
