CQ stands for Care & Quality. We were formerly Carpet Quest. Today we are CQ Floors, a locally owned and operated flooring showroom and installation team in San Marcos, California.
We help homeowners choose and install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, carpet and tile across San Diego County, including Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe, as well as Orange County. Come in for design help, buy product only for a DIY project, or let us handle the full sale and professional installation.
How we work
- All-in pricing. Every bid includes floor prep based on your jobsite conditions, so there are no surprise change orders mid-project.
- Removal included. We take out your old flooring, and disposal follows California's disposal rules.
- Accurate estimates. At your estimate visit we measure with a laser and diagram your rooms in Measure Square.
- Fast material. Materials stocked locally are often available within 2-3 business days. Materials stocked in Georgia take 7-10 business days.
- 18-month workmanship warranty. Every installation we do is covered for 18 months, and the warranty can be transferred within the first year. Products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
- $5 samples. Order samples for $5, or borrow them from the showroom. We tag loaned samples with your name so we know who has them.
- Financing. Promotional financing through Synchrony, subject to credit approval.
- Real work to look at. Browse finished CQ installs in our project gallery.
Homes and multifamily
We work with homeowners, and with property managers on multifamily properties. Property managers order through Floor Fluency, our property manager portal, built to streamline the flooring process for multifamily clients. We also partner with realtors, general contractors, interior designers and restoration companies.
