Justin and Nicole Lensen, of CQ Floors, LLC, acquired Carpet Quest, from Dennis Herald, on February 15, 2021. Dennis established Carpet Quest in 1983 and has been located in San Marcos for over 35 years. Dennis is ready to retire and has chosen The Lensen Family to pass on his flooring legacy. Justin and Nicole will continue to provide an exceptional flooring experience to all previous and future customers. Operations will continue at the same outstanding San Marcos location to serve all of San Diego County.
Carpet Quest will undergo a rebranding to CQ Floors, LLC to ensure our name is consistent with our current offerings. We sell and install all types of flooring. The CQ stands for Carpet Quest. The legacy of Carpet Quest is woven into the fabric of the business moving forward.
CQ Floors, LLC is a leader in flooring technology and will bring Carpet Quest into the digital age. Implementing new technologies, including laser measuring, will streamline business processes and provide customers with the most accurate flooring bids. We are a forward-thinking, family owned business. Justin has over 25 years of experience in the flooring industry; starting as an installer and working his way through the ranks. Most recently he was Regional Vice President, Sales for a national flooring company. Nicole was previously in the Multifamily Industry as a Regional Manager overseeing assets throughout Southern California. Justin & Nicole will continue the legacy of Carpet Quest by providing high quality flooring sales, installations, and excellent service!
